About Me

Hi, I’m Adam.

Do you remember the moment you realized you had found the thing you wanted to do for the rest of your life?

For me, it was at the end of the year in the second grade. We had to take one of those state-wide, standardized tests, the TAAS test. The English Language component that year was creative writing. I wish I still had a copy, but I remember writing something about riding dinosaurs through the jungle (this was long before Jurassic Park became a movie). When the scores came back, I received the highest score in the district. The recognition was a bonus; I had enjoyed writing the story so much I started doing it every day.

That was 1992. Today, I use decades of reading, learning, composing, and editing to help companies reach their clients in ways they never thought possible. These are the tools at my disposal which I offer to you.

Life Since Then

I graduated from UT at Austin in 2007 with a Bachelor of Journalism and a minor in Business. Since then, I have written copy as a part of my job for several companies. In an effort to teach myself about different industries, I have worked in banking, human resources, education, Real Estate, and news media. The experience has been invaluable; a poor-man’s MBA, as it were. My dual goals have always been excellence in writing and the freedom of self-employment.

Travel and photography are two of my hobbies. All of the pictures on this website were taken by me. Check me out @steed_z on instagram. I’ve spent most of my life in Texas. I try to be outdoors as often as possible, weather permitting. Everything is a learning experience and everything informs my writing. You never know where a good idea will present itself.

How I Can Help

Variety is important when trying to reach an audience. Your product or service has a specific application. You’ve done the research and narrowed down your field of potential clients. This is where I can help. My job is to find out what those people do, what they like, where they come from, how they spend their free time, and find a way to connect with them in such a way that they see your people, your company, as a part of the family. I build trust at the front door with a warm smile and welcome greeting. Your people, your products take it from there to build a lasting relationship.
